So, here’s something new for you. CreatorS Commentary. This was supposed to be a “Randy” page, but being that Jason and I ended up each doing 14 posts for this chapter (pages 10 & 11 were one post), I felt it was only right to include Jason into this final page.

I started working on this chapter quite some time ago, as I’ve stated many times by now. It’s been so long that I’m feeling the excitement of making this story again. The momentum from this upward swing of inspiration usually carry me for quite some time. Then, I need a small break to really let myself miss these characters again. And now that Chapter 4 is closed, Chapter 5 will be right behind it.
Though, we do need to take a *small* break to cross some t’s and dot some i’s. But never fear…you’re all in good hands.
And now, Jason.

Yeah, I know I said I wouldn’t be commenting on the last page, but then Randy suggested we do a double post, and I thought what the hell. It is the last page of the chapter, after all. And on this last page we find a face we’ve seen all throughout this chapter. Though that was in the past, Harker’s past to be exact. And now he’s here, accompanied by Mr. Huggins, who we’ve seen was working for Harker. So what’s the deal with that? Is this part of Harker’s plot too, some sort of contingency plan in the event of his capture? Or is this something completely different? And we learn on this page that Harker isn’t the only one who has a history with this old fellow. That’s right, he’s also responsible for Colton obtaining his jacket. I wonder if he’s actually in that first chapter. Curious readers should look into that. Maybe that’s why he seemed so familiar before.
So who the hell is this mystery man? Is he some sort of puppet master, the man behind the curtain directing events and people for his own purposes, or someone else’s? Can he be trusted? What are his intentions? He seems awfully interested in lamsters. What’s with that? Lots of questions. Hopefully the folks writing this have some answers coming up. I will say this though. He mentions he wants to show our characters ‘the way.’ If you go back to Chapter 2, the character Amy says the exact same thing to a young Penny during her flashback. Something else to chew on while you wait for our return.
I already gave a tease of what’s to come in the next chapter in my last post, so go there if you missed that. But for now, that does it for this chapter. It’s been far too long getting this one out, especially after the numerous rewrites. The remaining ones will not take as long, that I can promise you. Until Chapter 5, I’ll leave you with yet another thanks for reading this far. I hope you’ve enjoyed the ride and will come back for more, because the best really is yet to come.
